www.all2easy.net  has always been VERY professional in my dealings with them that is why I keep recommending them. Speed has always been as good as any other dialup ISP. In fact, in most cases, there is usually NO difference between one dialup and another dialup except for price.

Connection/line EXTREMELY slow. Site not very professional--links broken--called to cancel and got surly individual who immediately cut me off and started talking loudly about how they don't offer any kind of guarantee and I wasn't going to get a refund--I never asked for a refund--very defensive--apparently he gets a lot of disgruntled people--stay away. vtisp and basicISP.net are both better. If you want to try these guys it's strictly a gamble--the money you pay upfront is gone forever.

Startup payment was fast and service was available instantly afterwards. Dialups and response time have been good since. No complaints.

You have to go through a lot of red tape to cance the service, but the people are friendly and cooperative once you agree to abide by the rules.

I NEVER had any problems cancelling All2Easy service. I just called, they took care of the rest. Very professional and nice people. I have always ranked  www.all2easy.net  (200 hours or less) and  www.dialup.cc  (350 hours max) as the best dialup values that give high quality connections.

Final feedback on all2ez.net.
The customer service guy(one person),called me back on April 31 to agree to cancel my account. In conclusion, they have a strange sign-up procedure, and a even stranger one to cancel. It seems that they want to make cancellation harder than normal.

As of this writing (March 27, 2009) I am having trouble canceling my account. One cannot cancel by E-mail, so I had to “call them.” After doing that three times, and all three times they refused to cancel my account because the credit card “of record” is not the credit card I am using now! I have never head of such a “rule” to cancel. So the current card that they use to bill me, is not the number they want to cancel. I have many credit card numbers, and I gave them all (only the last four digits) and they would not take any credit card numbers that I had ever used!
The next step was to call Bank of America/Visa card that they use to bill me. As of March 27, 2009 this problem is still not taken care of. So they will keep charging my Visa account forever if I let them. Bank of America/Visa will contact them, and get them to stop, or I will have to change my credit card number to get these guys to stop charging me!

They do not have newsgroups. The reason I canceled is that they dropped their newsgroup service. When I signed up, it worked for three weeks, and then went dead. Plus, they only had 1.5GB to 2.0GB download limit on newsgroups.

The guy that answers the phone is rude to say the least. Also he said the newsgroup server was working, when it was not – so that was a “misstatement” (I am trying to be polite).

These cheap ISP’s are asking for a lot of trouble. Use your local DSL, they all have sales on their service, and their prices are coming down.

I'm very surprised at the mixed reviews of ALL2EZ. I'm amazed that I can get this much ISP bang for my 5 bucks. I don't use it constantly, however. I only use it when I'm back in Virginia on vacation, which right now is is twice a year. But it always works better than the other ISPs I've had in that area (which is a rural area of Virginia).

It's a good, clean connection and fast. The only problem I've had with it is the customer service, which isn't horrible. It's just inflexible. A couple of times I've canceled before I've used it a month, but they still charge for two months if you have it active beyond a certain part of the next month, and they have flat out refused to make any adjustment. But it is there in the terms and conditions, if you will read them before you sign up. So I can't fault them too much.

So okay, in my case I ended up paying $10 to use it for a month. I'd still say that's a bargain.

I'd recommend this ISP.

They will turn you off if you use more than 200 hours for sure. I sent email to them with no responce because I could not log on, I just figured it out myself that I went over the time limit. I had to sign up with MSN and then log onto my all2easy acount ant the usage was 215 hours. When did they change the time limit to 200 hours, I did not receive an email about the useage change.
As far as I know it has always been 200 hrs. A good company for what they charge.

All2Easy has ALWAYS had a 200 hour rolling average limit. Look at TOS. You have not finished half of June, you have already used 215 hours!! That means you are on-line over 15 hours per day - every day. Get DSL or Cable.
That statement is incorrect. See  http://www.freedomlist.com/forum/viewtopic...218#136218   for the original verbage of the TOS. Back then, the TOS stated:
 http://www.freedomlist.com/forum/viewtopic...218#136218   wrote:
Members agree not to use an automatic method to avoid inactivity disconnect or to otherwise maintain a connection unless actively using it. Member’s accounts that exceed 200 hour in a given month will be reviewed for abusive and/or mechanized use.
You could try  http://archive.org/  to try to find out when the TOS changed to a set 200 hour per month limit.

Forgive my naivete, but...is this all so bad? I have cookie software that rejects cookies from DoubleClick. If All2Easy picks up a few bucks from DoubleClick, keeping it's price low for you and I (I am not a subscriber but they do seem to offer a lot for 5 bucks a month), it seems a small price to pay, especially since it only happens if you type in an invalid URL.

I am getting dropped connections from using All2Easy, and it is getting frustrating because they have been providing decent service up to now. I have referred to the problems here:

 http://www.freedomlist.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=188438#188438

I checked with my phone company and they found nothing wrong with the telephone line--noise, etc. idea

I will see if All2Easy realizes there may be a server or NAS problem through the access numbers, etc. because the problem clearly is not on my end.

I know I could change ISPs but that's not the point. I have used All2Easy for over two years and it would be a shame to just jump to another one. But it is five bucks, so it wouldn't be financially devastating.

Why are you e-mailing them for a password? Of course, All2Easy would NOT answer for security reasons. NO ISP in their right mind would respond to that type of request. You could have called billing for NO charge to get your password or paid the $5 for phone tech support. However, if you do NOT know your own passwords, why is it the responsibility of All2Easy to provide this service to you??

All2Easy's tech support is supposed to be free so long as you EMAIL them. I emailed them once in July (the 27th), August 21 and September 29th to recover a password and never got a response. In all cases I provided my all2easy email address and my yahoo account and never recieved a response. Although their service is cheap, the tech support is not good and I would not suggest using thm.

Anybody else getting an "Error 691" (username or password invalid on the domain) keeping them from logging on the past two days?? I have had all2easy for years and up until this past year have been happy with them. Lately I am getting this error message (or others) keeping me from logging on plus email problems. Support has never had a solution for me. I am ready for a new ISP unless someone can HELP!

I have been using All2easy since 2004 and have only had minor problems with connecting 2 or 3 times. There email server is more of a problem so I use Yahoo + MSN as my main email address's. For $4.95 a month, it is well worth the money. This is one of the ISP's that offer newsgroups. I am happy with what I get for the money and I will be staying with them as long as I can connect everyday
